Euro Qualifiers:Netherlands wins 6, wales draw and Croatia vs italy endup draw

Netherlands returned to winning ways on the road to Euro 2016 as Arjen Robben starred during an emphatic 6-0 victory over Latvia.

Wales kept their dreams of automatic qualification on course as they consolidated their lead in Group B by holding World Cup quarterfinalists Belgium to a 0-0 draw in Brussels.

Croatia clinched a vital 1-1 draw against Italy in a heated 2016 European qualifier that was delayed in both halves as fans threw missiles onto the pitch.

Antonio Candreva put the hosts ahead in the 11th minute when he scored his first international goal, but Croatia's Ivan Perisic equalised four minutes later.

The encounter at the San Siro was temporarily stopped in both halves by Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers after visiting fans threw fireworks and smoke bombs onto the pitch.

The outcome has left the two sides level on 10 points at the top of Group H after four games with both teams having gone into the encounter on the back of three straight wins in qualifying.
