Arsene Wenger impressed by Chambers
Arsenal's second-biggest shareholder
Alisher Usmanov predicts a golden era lies ahead for the club and has
backed Arsene Wenger to keep spending.
He praised Arsenal's approach in the
transfer market this summer after the club spent more than £60 million
on Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers.
Usmanov, the richest man in Russia with a
fortune that rose to more than £11 billion in 2014, believes Arsenal are
now in prime position to win the Premier League title for the first
time since 2004.
